About Events @ UOW
The Events @ UOW calendars follow the University's mission of "community collaboration and service" by providing a one-stop source of information for UOW students, staff, parents, alumni and members of the broader community.
Benefits of the University Event Calendars:
- Connects you to the UOW community and beyond, quickly and easily
- Serves as a guide for planning campus events
- Enables you to view all UOW events or to scope them to specific calendars, campuses or timeframes
- You can search for events, print events or export events to Outlook or any calendaring software
- You can send event invitations by email
The Major Calendars & Subcalendars:
Events are stored in dozens of specialist Subcalendars. These Subcalendars are grouped together inside Major Calendars to make
it easier
for you to view related events. The Major Calendars are:
- All UOW Events: events from all the calendars except staff-specific events and the Community Billboard.
- Academic Events: events related to study, enrolment and administration.
- Student life: activities, organisations and support services specifically for students.
- Prospective Student Events: evenings, scholarships and application dates for future students.
- Public Interest: non-entertainment events that might be of interest to the broader community.
- Arts & Entertainment: films, exhibits, comedy, social events and concerts.
- Sports & Recreation: competitions, events and classes for fitness, swimming and other sports.
- Alumni: events for and by students who have graduated from UOW.
- Staff Events: training and events of interest to UOW staff.
- Community Billboard: non-UOW events of interest to the community. Only non-profit, fundraising or community events are
accepted.

Submitting Events:

- Campus Events: Specify a campus by which the event can be filtered in the calendar view. If it occurs on multiple campuses or off-campus, then select "Unspecified."
- Repeating Events: To quickly add a recurring event, first designate how it should repeat (i.e., every week). Then specify either the total number of times the event should repeat or an end date until which it should repeat.
